TRAINING AND SUPPORT


We start supporting you immediately, with our Kickoff Meeting where we personalize your launch plan and schedule your introductory training, on-site training, and post-launch training. Your launch plan details the steps each of us will take to get you to your first client, your first billing cycle, and your first year of success.

At the kick-off meeting you will learn about the Second Home Care intranet, digital manuals, digital training, and communication tools. As you will see, each component of the Second Home Care franchise system is designed to maximize productivity and improve your ability to acquire, service, and retain your customers. You will immediately have access to this digital workspace and content and be able to hit the in-person training running.

Next, you’ll come to Tahoe for in-person training, where you’ll have ten plus days of hands-on training in Sales & Marketing, Administration, Leadership and Field Operations. We believe it is critical for you to know what you are asking your teams to do – from sales and client services to spa care and cleaning. Through a combination of classroom and field work you will learn our methods to perform the work, train your team, and manage your vendor partners.

  • Field Operations: Learn the proprietary processes and tools needed to deliver client satisfaction across the spectrum of client jobs – from inspections and spa care to cleaning and more.

  • Tech Stack: Learn our technologies – and put them to practice immediately in the office and the field.

  • Administration & Setup: Get ready to onboard new clients and manage the billing cycles.

  • Client Services: See, feel and practice what it takes to achieve extreme client retention.

  • Sales & Marketing: Once we cover the work and our internal processes, you will be ready to cover marketing and practice your elevator pitch.

During the in-person training, you will see and use our processes, tools, and techniques – learning directly from experienced practitioners in the field and classroom. When you return home, you will be ready for your first customer... but you won’t be alone.

As your business accelerates, your field coach will have weekly web calls and scheduled market visits. In addition, the Second Home Care team is always one call or click away. We will coach you through administrative and office setup questions, hiring and turnover challenges, field operations training, marketing and sales discussions, and financial questions.

To help with your acceleration, we will maintain updated client lists for your marketing campaigns, trigger marketing events on your behalf, and update your brand kit (ie car graphics) as needed to keep you looking great.

We are operators too – so you will benefit as we continue to stress test and improve the system. Throughout the year, Second Home Care will provide team building and ongoing educational opportunities. On top of that, all manuals and training materials are regularly updated, available digitally and mobile optimized so you and your team can refer back whenever, wherever!
